Transport Properties of Heavy Electron Metals
نویسندگان
چکیده
Resistivity ( p ) and thermoelectric power (Q) experiments are described for two different ground states at zero pressure (P): a normal phase (CeA13) and a superconducting phase (UBel3). In CeA13, antiferromagnetism occurs clearly at P = 0 and may disappear rapidly under pressure. Magnetic field and pressure experiments in UBe13 show that antiferromagnetism and superconductivity may be antagonist.

Modeling of Heavy Metal Movement in Vegetated, Unsaturated Soils with Emphasis on Geochemistry
In recent years, researchers have focused on modeling of multicomponent reactive transport and have developed models to study the mobility of potentially toxic heavy metals in the subsurface. In this study, a mathematical model for understanding the fate of a typical heavy metal (lead) in unsaturated soil is developed. The entire modeling activity comprises of three parts. During the first part...
متن کاملPhotodegradation of Acid Black 1 and Removing Heavy Metals from the Water by an Inorganic Nanocomposite Synthesized via Simple Co-Precipitation Method
In this experimental work, PbS/ZnS/ZnO nanocomposite was synthesized via a simple co-precipitation method. The effect of Zn2+/Pb2+ mole ratio was investigated on the product size and morphology. The products were characterized via scanning electron microscopy to obtain product size and morphology. The optical properties of the nanocomposites were studied by ultra violet-visible spectroscopy. Ph...
متن کاملColloid Deposition and Release in Soils and Their Association With Heavy Metals
Colloid transport in subsurface has received considerable attention recently because mobile colloids can facilitate the transport of heavy metals in soils to contaminate groundwater. Many studies on colloid mobility in the subsurface consider soils as well-defined porous media. Though similar in many aspects, soils are different from well-defined porous media. The authors emphasize the impacts ...
متن کاملتأثیر آبیاری با فاضلاب بر انتقال عناصر سنگین به عمق خاک تحت کشت سیبزمینی
In this study, a completely randomized experiment was designed with four irrigation treatments and three replicates. The irrigation programs were raw wastewater, treated wastewater, a combination of 50% raw wastewater and 50% potable water and a combination of 50% treated wastewater and 50% potable water. The experiments were run within a greenhouse. The lysimeters were built up on September 20...
متن کاملHigh Efficient Nanocomposite for Removal of Heavy Metals (Hg2+ and Pb2+) from Aqueous Solution
In current work, CdS/black carbon nanocomposites were successfully synthesized with the aid of chestnut and cadmium nitrate as the starting reagents. Besides, the effects of preparation parameters such as reaction time, and precursor concentration on the morphology of products and removal of heavy metals (Hg+2, Pb+2) were studied by scanning electron microscopy images and batch adsorption mode....
متن کاملInvestigate the effect of distance from source and species type on the absorption ability of heavy metals by tree species around Nahavand cement factory
This study aims at investigating the effect of distance from source, species type and soil physical chemical properties on the absorption ability of heavy metals by tree species around the Nahavand cement factory. In the present research, soil and tree leaf (Pseudoacacia L, Populus nigra L, Elaeagnus angustifolia L, Fraxinus excelsior and Thuja orientalis L) samples were taken from 300, 500, 80...
